There are two things Deion Sanders is proud of in his personal life: his kids and his shoe collection. Prime is almost always on the lookout to turn his kids into better football players. On the other hand, Sanders’s shoe collection is a source of envy for the sneakerheads. To this, more suave pairs of kicks were added after Prime Time signed with Nike, making Sanders’s shoe collection something that even his sons envy.
The saga started with Deion Sanders posting his back-in-the-day signature Nike Air Diamond Turfs on Instagram, hinting at a collaboration with shoe giant Nike after his relations turned sour with them in 1992. Sorting out their differences, Nike finalized Prime as their partner in 2023, as Deion Sanders flaunted another classic black and golden kicks, a style representing his association with CU. Well, a similar pair caught his son, Shilo Sanders’ eye during their training session, as he genuinely intended on bagging them.

Making a wise move at emotional manipulation, Shilo Sanders said “I thought you was a good father.” His goal? His father’s shiny kicks with Prime inscribed on them in golden words. In an audacious attempt to get them, Shilo Sanders initiated an explanation, “First I look at your shoes, I think they’re like mine. But then I see them just shine.” Well, Deion Sanders too was not holding back on his friendly quip as he stated, “They’re 11.” Well, the Buffs safety wasn’t about to give up so easily, as he asked his pops to “Change it up a little bit go ahead and give me a size 13.”
Well, if fate turns out to be in favor of Shilo Sanders, then he might end up getting the massive NIL deal with Nike he has been hinting about since the beginning of this year.

To this, his caption with the post “I did it!” which was a wordplay with Nike’s brand slogan “Just do it!” created even more spark. Is this banter with his father another hint by the Sanders at Shilo Sanders’ suspected NIL deal with Nike? Or is it just another sign of the fondness he has with the funky shoes? The mystery would only be revealed with time.
