The exchange between Coach Prime Deion Sanders and former NFL wide receiver Michael Irvin is the definition of friendship. The two retired Super Bowl champions had a heart-to-heart talk on Friday’s Undisputed. Irvin recounted a story when they tried to land Deion Sanders a role in television following his retirement from the NFL. Colorado head coach, who then had no television reference, said, “He came over to my house. We went into my office. He set papers up at different places on the walls at different places.” He said, ‘These are your cameras. So when you talk to me, make sure you go back to your main camera.”

Deion Sanders and Michael Irvin played as teammates for five seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. They have always maintained a strong relationship on and off the field, supporting each other in every way. Nostalgia hangs in the air as Coach Prime gets emotional as he gets overwhelmed by the kindness Irvin had shown him in the past.?

Coach Prime went on to say that Michael Irvin never had an obligation to do him a favor like that. He said, “He wanted me to be the best and prepared me for this next level of my life. That’s friendship man. No matter what goes on, that’s friendship. And that’s one of the reasons whenever he calls, I’m picking it up on the first ring ’cause I love him, man.

Head coach Deion Sanders is still leading in football

Both Deion Sanders and Michael Irvin forged separate paths for themselves following their departure from the Dallas Cowboys in 1999. While Irvin went on to retire from the NFL and become a sports commentator, Sanders played five more seasons with the Washington Redskins and Baltimore Ravens before retiring in 2005.?
