It’s not that often that we get to hear about Deion breaking down in tears, and this time, it took an ordinary encounter to get to him. The HC for the Colorado Buffaloes is a man of sheer determination and a figure that continues to motivate millions with his words. As such, a simple interaction with a stranger was enough to make Coach Prime something that the fans wouldn’t have predicted.

This past season, Colorado’s run was a disaster. They couldn’t make it past the last position on the points table and ended their record with a poor 4-8. Though it was a drastic improvement from Colorado’s 2022 season where the record was 1-11, the fans still expected a lot more from a coach of his mentality. The fans’ love and admiration made him the most loved coach in college football, despite his team’s poor performance. And in a recent video, he shows why he outrightly deserves that love.

While the next season approaches, it is evident that the Buffaloes are training harder than ever. They need to redeem themselves after their unfortunate season. In the newest video on ‘Thee Pregame Show’ YouTube channel, Deion can be seen working out tirelessly. He took a break mid-rep to share an emotional story that just goes to prove how sensitive Coach Prime can be.

He iterated a story about meeting a young fan and dropping him to the nearest bus stop for his daily job. The fan took a picture with him before going his own way. Their exchange of words wasn’t anything extraordinary, but Deion read the situation too deeply. After which, Deion said, “Because I said you never know what somebody’s going through and we take things for granted man. This young brother going through the snow to make it to the bus stop to get to a job that probably just pays them enough to get them and back and we complaining and we tripping about the opportunities that we have. I cried all the way to work man.”

During the start of the season, it was none other than Dwayne ‘the Rock’ Johnson, who almost brought Deion to the verge of tears by praising him with some heavy words.

Deion is a man of the people and the fans look up to him largely. Thus, it is nothing short of commendable that he’s shown a vulnerable side to them where he’s not afraid to cry in front of them. At the same time, he’s also inspiring his fans. When the Rock complimented him on his success as the Colorado coach, he couldn’t help but almost cry.

Though Deion’s response of “You’re gonna make me cry,” was meant in good humor, it was nice to see Coach Prime being validated for his hard work. After which, he said, “All recruits, did you hear what he said?”, which got the fans laughing in splits. Well Deion, the recruits did hear that as he has landed several brilliant players on the team for the upcoming season.
