After the brutal exodus that the Buffs suffered at the beginning of the off-season, good days are back for Deion Sanders and Co. Two spots due to graduation and the other four due to decommits became vacant after the Buffs concluded the season with an almost embarrassing 4 wins. However, to help them avenge their reputation the following season, top recruits across the CFB are joining hands with Deion Sanders.
Coach Prime bagging all the top-notch recruits came into the limelight when 5-star OT Jordan Seaton announced his commitment to Colorado. After this, everything happened in a flash. In just mere hours, Coach Prime had two more commits: Tyler Johnson and Yakiri Walker pledged their athleticism.

Deion Sanders’ clear-cut approach was the key
Coach Prime saw the potential in his offensive line right when he stepped into the shoes of the head coach. Since then, Coach Prime has been advocating constantly about modifying the O-line. That was exactly why Sanders was not fussing about Buffs players entering the transfer portal. “There are some dogs coming of in,” asserted Coach Prime back then, turning it into a reality now. As per Bret Schrotenboer from USA Today, Coach Prime has landed the Nation’s top offensive recruit lines.
🚨 | BREAKING: Colorado officially has the #1 Transfer Portal Class in the entire nation for 2024
The most impressive part? Coach Prime was only focused on ONE position group this week, the offensive line. Colorado landed 5 Offensive Linemen & a couple other offensive stars so… pic.twitter.com/mwyWaKUjHi

The real catch here? Coach Prime has focused exclusively on the O-line till now. While doing something so particular, Sanders out-recruited all other conferences in terms of O-linemen. All this, while the defense-line-focused weekend still awaits. “We’re gonna [land] a few more players offensively, & then this weekend the defense gets all the focus,” boasted Sanders. The Buffs have already landed more than half a dozen in-demand offensive linemen, all while making room for more to join. Classic Coach Prime.

Defense linemen recruit prospects
The bunch of shining offensive recruits might be enticing, but their defensive line is expected to be equally star-studded. Brandon Davis-Swain, a 4-star and 33rd-ranked defensive lineman in class, committed to the Buffs in June. 3-star commits, Omar White and Eric Brantley committed to Colorado in last year’s December, with them being ranked 46th and 47th respectively in the class. These are just the ones who have already committed. As the defense-centered weekend approaches, fans might expect some big names from the category to shake hands with Coach Prime.

Not to mention, Deion Sanders will also have their polished players, QB Shedeur Sanders, and CB Travis Hunter, by his side. With this, the Buffs can expect a blazing comeback the following season.
