Deion Sanders, coach for the Colorado Buffaloes, is a part of a hilarious skit on the SNL. The 55-year-old coach has been in the news ever since he signed with the Buffs on a 5-year contract this season. Coach Prime’s team has had a 4-3 win-loss season so far; thus, they’ve received embarrassment.

Recently, SNL aired their latest episode which saw comedian Kenan Thompson imitating the persona of Coach Prime. The popular TV show derives real-life instances and depicts them through light-hearted skits. The world of the NFL has started to doubt the credibility of Coach Prime’s confidence due to the team’s poor performance. While Coach Prime was the SNL’s first target, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift soon became their second.

The skit of Deion Sanders left the audience in splits. Kenan Thompson did an amazing job with the way he spoke and dressed. He mocked the confidence with which Sanders usually exudes and showed a bizarre side to him. The hysterical episode was hosted by Pete Davidson, his first time with the SNL ever since his departure in 2022. The fans are excited to see how Davidson and musical guest, Ice Spice will perform together as an unexpected pairing.

Travis Kelce, TE for the Kansas City Chiefs, appeared in a skit that revolved around his and Swift’s alleged pairing. The NFL has been in an uproar since the news of their romance broke out. Swift has been spotted several times coming to the Chiefs’ game to support Kelce. The couple’s love story doesn’t seem too different from a Taylor Swift song. After much speculation, they finally entered the limelight together in what can only be described as one of the NFL’s most dramatic situations. The SNL outdid themselves with their recent episode with even Taylor Swift appearing amid the performance of Ice Spice. But most importantly, the skit on Coach Prime will be remembered for a long time a fan said “Best SNL skit I have seen in a looong time 😆.”

One of SNL’s regular segments is the ‘Weekend Update’ where Colin Jost and Michael Che try to portray the characters of news anchors as they try to get through the hysterical script of questions. So on the latest episode of the SNL, it made sense that Deion Sanders should be inculcated in this segment as he’s famous for his interviews and the words he has to say in them.

Comedian Kenan Thompson had the audience in splits as he demonstrated a perfect mimicry of the 2-time Super Bowl winner. In fact, his jokes couldn’t even hold Colin Jost back from laughing throughout the entire segment. The skit aimed to make fun of how confident Coach Prime is even when his team is playing poorly. There’s no doubt about the fact that he has inspirational words to say but it far from addresses the upsetting state of his team.
