Jay Norvell’s controversial wife, Kim Norvell, continues to cause drama in the Deion-Jay incident. Both the coaches met on the field after the Colorado team defeated the CSU team amid high tensions. There was a lot of friction before the match, but it seems as if that volcanic activity has erupted weeks later as Kim Norvell continues to rile things up.

In the newest episode of the Coach Prime documentary series, a clip showed the encounter between Norvell and Sanders as they exchanged handshakes. The interaction wasn’t exactly friendly, and we saw Shedeur flex his watch as soon as Norvell’s back was turned. In response to this, Kim took to X to reply to a fan’s tweet about the clip and called Shedeur a “b**.” This was met with a lot of fire, and soon the tweet was deleted by Kim. But now it looks like things are getting heated up as the same fan tweeted about Kim’s newest activity, more personal than the last time.

On December 13, a fan named Keyia Rejai appreciated Deion and Shedeur in a tweet, which prompted Kim to reply with a negative response. But after she deleted the tweet, she proceeded to follow this fan, which can lead people to believe that she wants to keep an eye out for more gossip.

Rejai tweeted about Kim following her and said, “Somebody come get Kim Norvell. Are you following me now??? Ma’am, being in my comments is what got you in trouble to start with. 🤨“ Later, Rejai responded to a comment by saying that she had blocked her. Furthermore, Kim’s statement about Shedeur has definitely been problematic, but it is important to know about what led to the heated face-off between Deion and Jay.

Behind Deion Sanders’ and Jay Norvell’s tense relationship

Before the match between Colorado and CSU, Jay had a few words to say about the persona of Coach Prime. He said, “I said when I talk to grownups, I take my hat off and my glasses off. That’s what my mother taught me.” To which Deion calmly replied by saying, “I’m a grown man. I’m supposed to wear what I’m not supposed to wear.” On game day, the Colorado team beat the Rams by a score of 43-35, and thus, that’s where the beef supposedly ended; at least that’s what everyone thought.

In the newest episode of the Coach Prime docuseries, the fans got to see the heated exchange between Jay and Deion when they met on the field. The tensions were so high that Shedeur had to mediate the situation and tell his father not to lay his hands on him. As soon as the handshake occurred, Norvell said, “Congratulations, and I was never talking about your family.” But Deion blatantly refuted his claims by replying, “Oh, you were talking about my mama, dawg.” Thus, the fans will hope that the rivalry between the two coaches can come to an end now and not let their personal opinions interfere with the game and the players.
