Can Coach Prime's new prodigy fill the shoes of Travis Hunter? Share your opinions!

A 6-5, 285-pounder CB is making all the buzz as the upcoming player in the regular season, and for all the right reasons. Straight out of the IMG academy, the former Liberty player Preston Hodge has raked up impressive states in his previous school. 60 tackles, 13 passes defended, 3 TFLs, 2 interceptions, a forced fumble, and an interception return touchdown in his 25 games played.

Now, the analysts expect him to carry out some even blazing games under the guidance of Coach Prime during his last collegiate season at Colorado. During his show BuffStampede, William Gardner and his guest Adam Munsterteiger dissected Hodge as the No.12 player in the CFB season. Even the PPF grades have ranked Hodge as the top-graded returning cornerback in the Big 12, a list that snubbed Travis Hunter out of the equation, which is precisely why Gardner and Munsterteiger consider the transfer of Hodge as a “hit the jackpot with these two,” for Deion Sanders.

The second player here is, of course, Travis Hunter. The one who has been a constant source of inspiration for Hodge as a CB in Colorado. “He’s (Travis Hunter’s) a leader. Watching him and what he does on and off the field, being the first guy in line in the drills, you know what I’m saying? I try to be right there with him and lead by example,” Hodge said on the podium after his first official practice. While Hodge is busy drawing inspiration from Hunter, head coach Deion Sanders is on a mission to make Hodge another star CB out of Colorado.

Deion Sanders on a ‘Preston Hodge’ mission

Deion Sanders just proved why he is the ‘recruiting mastermind’. Prime’s fine eye for exceptional talent was on full display when he secured Preston Hodge this season. Now, he is on a mission to transform the way the NCAA sees Hodge: Coach Prime wants to make the CB the next star player of Colorado this season.

For it, Prime has already started giving personal motivation sessions to Preston Hodge. Per a clip from Well Off Media, Deion Sanders was spotted saying to Hodge, “I want you to be great. That’s why I’m on you.”

Not only that, but Deion Sanders also wants to see the CB on the top lists because when he doesn’t see his name in the first round, “That makes me mad. Let’s go get it.” Now that analysts and his head coach are on the same page, one thing is clear: fans can expect some blazing performance from Preston Hodge this season.
