Injuries continue their assault on the players as the NCAA regular season nears its end. Week 10 games were nothing less than a roller coaster. However, the same can hardly be said for the Colorado team, as the Buffs continued to be disappointed. The team faced yet another ugly 28-16 loss against the Beavers. However, the loss came the toughest on the Buffs QB, Sheduer Sanders.

The pressure on the Buffs during the game against Oregon State was quite a lot, as they were already coming off another humiliating loss against UCLA the past week. Not only did the performance disappoint fans, it proved to be harmful to the team, especially the QB.

Coach Prime’s son Sheduer Sanders suffered the most in the game due to Colorado’s offense’s inefficiency. The offensive linemen sorely failed in defending QB Sanders against the Ducks. This ultimately led to Sheduer Sanders getting injured. However, Coach Prime applauded his perseverance and dedication to the game.“He’s been hurt,” said Deion Sanders. “I think he went in to get an injection so he could finish. So it’s extraordinary.”
Shedeur Sanders had to leave the court in the fourth quarter and then during halftime to get the injections. “The kid is tough,” asserted Sanders.
“He’s tough, he’s fighting through it and he don’t make any excuses. He wasn’t raised like that.” Well, Coach Prime should be proud not only of his upbringing but also of his coaching skills for his son.

Despite the back-to-back losses the Buffs are facing, there has been a ton of appreciation around for Sheduer Sanders’ performance as well. The QB took around 17 hits, enduring the most in the game, as he tried to throw out the passes. Not to mention that he was already coming off an unspecified injury against the Oregon State.

Looking at the numbers, the QB has been sacked 4 times this season alone, which explains his small injuries. Moreover, Sanders currently stands at 2,637 yards with 22 touchdowns with 3 interceptions, which makes his completion percentage a whopping 71.1. Thus, it would be no surprise to see the QB present at Colorado’s upcoming clash against the 12-ranked Arizona Wildcats.
