The Colorado Buffaloes seem to be far away from being done with drama. While other transfers like Cormani McClain and Xavier Smith have mostly attacked Deion Sanders, the latest transfer, Gavin Kuld has walked on a different path. The Buffs’ backup QB dragged Shedeur Sanders into the dirt once he stepped his foot outside Boulder during an interview with Magdog TV on YouTube.

In the now-deleted video, from getting the silent treatment from Shedeur to Deion Sanders’ son maintaining a lavish lifestyle, Kuld touched upon it all. Meanwhile, Shedeur had passed an open threat to the ex-backup QB for badmouthing Coach Prime and his program

During the interview, Kuld revealed how he received ‘outsider treatment’ from Shedeur. As the host enquired if Kuld got along with Deion Sanders’ son, Kuld shook his head in denial. Then came his reply as he shared his thoughts about his experience with Shedeur. “Not a second. The second I came in, he told the coaching staff that I would never have a chance to be the backup quarterback and he could never coach me… I sat to try to talk to the four quarterbacks of spring…what you doing, what you reading, you should read this…he was completely mute to me,” Kuld said.

Once Kuld was done highlighting the mistreatment he received from Shedeur, the host put forward a general question as to how much money has changed college football. Here too, the ex-backup QB refused to let go of the chance of landing an attack on Shedeur. He took a brutal jab on the quarterback’s lavish lifestyle, “Look at Arizona, look at (Noah) Fifita, he did with all his money…look at Colorado this guy has got six cars and an apartment”. It seems that the Shedeur-Gavin tiff has been going on for a long time now.

The rising tension between Kuld and Shedeur revealed

As Kuld chose to enlighten the fans, Shedeur did not take it lightly that a backup QB questioning his actions. “I don’t if it was the backlog we had last year cause we had something individual going on. I called him out and he got real defensive in that conversation. From that instance, he would talk to me occasionally”, informed Kuld. Even though what exactly transpired between the two is not known, Shedeur tried in every possible way to safeguard Colorado’s honor post-Kuld’s exit.

Since McClain, Smith and now Kuld talking negatively about the Buffs program happened within a short span, it added to the quarterback’s frustration. An exasperated Shedeur blew out on X, claiming, “Y’all just interview anyone that leave from Colorado just to get a negative look on the program.”

While no one could possibly know the truth behind what has unfolded, some Buffs admirers think that Kuld using Shedeur’s multimillion lifestyle and NIL valuation as weapons, comes from sheer jealousy. Being a six-string quarterback, Shedeur has, however, refused to take any nonsense from Kuld.
