Skip Bayless, the most in-vouge analyst of the NFL, has his dreams. Surprisingly, those dreams are not for him, they are for college football star coach Deion Sanders. Sanders shook hands with the Buffs this season, assuming the position of their head coach. However, things didn’t go as planned as the 4-5 Buffs are nowhere to be seen in the top 25 teams of playoff rankings.

Moreover, Deion Sanders’s decision to demotivate offensive coach Sean Lewis was also criticized harshly, among other things. Even after all this, the Hall of Famer wants to stick to college football coaching, even when the NFL teams are knocking on his door. Between all this chaos, following the footsteps of other critics, Bayless gave his two cents on Deion Sanders’ choice to stay with college football.

In his latest appearance on ‘Undisputed’, Bayless shared his superlative wish. However, Bayless being the unique being he is, had a rather specific wish which included Sanders and the 5-3 Dallas Cowboys. “My Ultimate Dream would be for Deion Sanders to coach my Dallas Cowboys because it feels like he was born to coach my Dallas Cowboys,” confessed Bayless.

However, Coach Prime has shown no public interest in coaching the league’s teams. The Colorado Buffaloes’s coach believes he is built to be in the conference rather than the NFL league. “I don’t think I’m built for the NFL,” admitted Sanders. Well, it was evident in Coach Sanders’s interactions with the NFL teams. Sanders has reportedly rejected offers from several NFL teams, being confident in his position with the NCAA.

Which teams are in the Sanders’ race this season?

There are many reasons which support the hypothesis of Sanders changing his mind during the off-season, to go for NFL teams. Foremost is the improvement in his coaching abilities, leading him to more fame than he already has. Secondly, his sons, Shilo, and Sheduer Sanders stepped into the NFL. Even though these remain to be speculations, the team owners have started the race to get Sanders with them.

The prime candidates are the Atlanta Falcons, Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Chargers, New England Patriots, Washington Commanders, and (music to Bayless’s ears) Dallas Cowboys. Except for Dallas, all the other teams are either looking to bring the lost charm to their team through a shining new coach or are having issues with their current head coach. However, Dallas is targeting Sanders to aim straight for the Super Bowl. Now the decision stays with Sanders to play his best cards.
