The 60-year-old has been with the Wolverines for over 9 years and won the CFP national championship with them this season. He’s accumulated a staggering amount of accolades with the team and it seems as if this is his time to finally transition to the NFL but hasn’t spoken a word about it yet.

The Michigan Wolverines would lose the head of the organization if Harbaugh were to leave. In response to his NFL recruitment rumors, the Wolverines retaliated in full. They reportedly offered Harbaugh a record-breaking $125 million contract, which if signed, would make him one of the most-paid coaches in the NCAA. But even with the generous contract, sources suggest that Harbaugh has his sights set on the Chargers in the NFL. Regarding his future, Adam Schefter weighed in with an interesting opinion.

On the latest episode of the ‘Pat McAfee’ show, Adam Schefter joined the panel to discuss Jim Harbaugh’s future, which has left everyone on the edge of their seats. He talked about Harbaugh leaving for the NFL, which would make the most sense as winning a Super Bowl should be the next goal for him. Additionally, he has spent over 9 seasons with the Wolverines, and amid interesting offers from the Chargers, his move might be on the cards.

Schefter said,  “Jim Harbaugh has done everything that you could want to do in Ann Arbor & he loves Michigan.. I also think that he wants to win a Super Bowl & there’s some attractive options. The Chargers are targeting him to be their guy & we’ll see if they can figure it out,” The fans have been eagerly waiting for Harbaugh’s official announcement about his decision but there have been no confirmations. Though Harbaugh hasn’t cleared the air using his words, his actions suggest otherwise as rumors suggest that he’s planning a move to the LA Chargers.

Now, with the rumors snowballing every day, the fans should see him in the blue colors of the Chargers soon. The shift to the NFL would mean wonders to his career as he’s already achieved all he could within the NCAA.
