And with that, the rumors come to a screeching halt. After weeks of seething barbs and merciless accusations, Shedeur Sanders finally opened up on his ‘beef’ with Travis Hunter. After all, Hunter had secured a spot as the cover athlete on the EA Sports latest version of College Football video game, the CFB 25. The newer version of the game has hit the market after almost 10 years, making the feature an oh-so-important in the video game series.

Everyone was praising Hunter for the achievement but it was Shedeur’s nonchalance with Hunter’s accomplishment that stood out the most, inviting some rumors and brash criticism. Moreover,  Deion Sanders Jr.’s take on it didn’t do the whole fiasco any favors. The Well Off Media page posted a video labeled ‘Is there beef going on between Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter‘. Deion Sanders Jr. was called out to be a ‘clickbait’, inviting some brash criticism. That’s when Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter decided to step in, to end all the rumors once and for all.

Remember the time when Deion Sanders Jr. had playfully mentioned Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter taking a retreat to end their quarrels when it was originally a leadership session by Deion Sanders and Travis Hunter played along with it? Yes, Shedeur Sanders continued to play with it in his answer too. “We made sure we went on a retreat so we could spend more time together,” he said. Taking up as another reason behind Hunter not giving Shedeur and their friendship enough time was Hunter’s fiancée Leanna Lenee. “I’m not beefing with Travis. Travis don’t spend enough time with me. He be with his girl too much,” Shedeur playfully added. Now, the situation seems like a joke they’re loving to play along with.

While there were no hard feelings from Shedeur’s end after getting snubbed by EA Sports despite being one of the top QBs in the NCAA, the same could not exactly be said for Travis Hunter. While Hunter, too, did not take any offense on Shedeur not commenting on his achievement, there was one thing that didn’t sit right with him.

When Hunter was asked about the retreat, he picked up the cue and played along. “That’s what it really is,” he said. What was different from Shedeur’s claim was the reason they hadn’t been able to give time to each other. “And he’d be spending too much time going out and stuff so I was kind of jealous,” Hunter confessed, hinting at the lavish trip Shedeur Sanders made to Vegas.

Even though it was just a two-day trip that Shedeur Sanders had with Deion Sanders Jr., it headlines the internet a lot. The reason for it was Shedeur and his brother Buckey struck it $30k rich through gambling in Vegas. Since Hunter missed a shot at also winning a similar amount, was the reason why Hunter playfully passed the ‘jealous’ comment at Shedeur or rather his jackpot money.
