Another Michigan alum is thrilled to hype the Maize and Blue! Even though Sherrone Moore has already lost significant members of his coaching staff to the Chargers, not one student-athlete has entered the transfer portal after Jim Harbaugh left. This is the only motivation Moore needs to prove himself as the head coach. While Moore patiently awaits his first game as a Michigan head coach, he celebrates the impression Roman Wilson has created.
Day 1 of the highly awaited all-star Reese’s Senior Bowl 2024 has commenced. And Michigan’s star WR Roman Wilson is already garnering much-deserved appreciation on day 1. So much so that Jim Nagy, the director of Senior Bowl and a proud Michigan alum, feels that he is ‘severely underrated’. “Michigan’s Roman Wilson making me feel better about my Tyler Lockett comp yesterday. Dude is so underrated right now. Senior Bowl week will change that,” posted Nagy.

Sherrone Morre further added to all the praise with his comment, “He is like that!!” Moreover, it is not just his head coach and former Michigan players who are getting smitten over Wilson’s performance. NFL’s Lance Zierlein & Eric Edholm elected him as the number 1 standout on day 1 of the Senior Bowl. “Wilson is going to be a problem for defenses if he finds the right fit in the draft,” predicted Zierlein and Edholm.
Wilson did not amass any massive numbers this season, he did not even complete 800 receiving yards in a season. The primary reason was this was Michigan’s offense-heavy style. This is what mainly contributed to him not getting the attention he deserves, of him staying ‘underrated’ per Nagy with the caliber he possesses. Will the Reese’s Senior Cup 2024 redefine that?
