Deion Sanders is standing in the corner, smirking. The brief tactic that put him in the negative limelight is crumbling bit by bit as Deion Sanders supporters increase. Athlon Sports’ Steve Corder’s report mainstreamed the allegation of Deion Sanders’ coercing CU players to attend Shedeur Sanders’ performing his song ‘Perfect Timing‘ on Prime Spring game weekend in April. Plus, Prime also apparently “threatening to dismiss anyone who skipped.

Deion Sanders’ reaction came quickly, with him making a laughingstock of the twisted lie. “This is one of the best lies I’ve heard,” Prime wrote on X on June 14. Another tweet in the same series followed on June 18, where Prime preached some wise words saying, “A painful truth is far better than a comforting lie.” In between these two tweets, Sanders got support against the claim worldwide.

Deion Sanders ‘ride-or-die’ athletic trainer since his JSU days, the one whom he trusts with the recovery of his legs with chronic blood clot condition, Lauren Aeskevold, also chimed in with her support for Prime. “Y’all are really tripping. Hate is an ugly trait,” Askevold wrote on X, once again proving her undying support for Prime when he was accused of ‘playing the daddy ball’.

If there is someone who knows Prime like the back of her hand, it is Askevold. Prime trusts her with his life since she is always the one to accompany Prime to his hospital visits, even when his family members can’t make it. Hence, her verdict on the situation clears up a lot of fog surrounding the claims, cementing Deion Sanders’ innocence further. And it is not just Askevold’s claims that prove this, it is coming from almost everyone who believes in Coach Prime.

The support for Deion Sanders

When Prime initially debunked the claim, Deion Sanders Jr. was the first one to have his back. “Bro this is hilarious. They basically said he forcing people to listen to his son’s mixtapesDawg this is next level funny,” Sanders Jr. wrote on his X. Along with him, their daughter Deiondra Sanders also took to her Instagram story to defend his father, posting nothing but his powerful words to shut the detractors down: “A painful truth is far better than a comforting lie.”

Other than his children, the whole of the CU army is rallying behind Sanders in his support. Famous YouTuber ISmokeHipHop was one of the first ones to speak up against it. Calling it ‘ridiculous’, the YouTuber even went to the lengths of calling the CU players who started the rumors “rats” since reports wrote that these were coming from “somе of thе pеoplе who transfеrrеd out.”

Even Colorado Buffaloes’ ‘Governer’, Camden Dempsey, stood up for Sanders. “Yeah, and all I can say is this is 100% false. We were never ‘forced’ to go to this concert.” He further claimed that the team members went to support Shedeur since they were all part of the same team. Another YouTuber, Jon the Liquidator, confirmed Dempsey’s words, claiming that he was present in Colorado and that the concert was “actually sold out.” So much so that “even the players couldn’t get the tickets.” After all the claims, Deion Sanders’s side looks more dominant against the allegation.
