As Deion Sanders celebrated the selling out of his signature Nike Air DT Max ’96 shoes in minutes, only his sons are spotted in the photograph. What about the girls?

While Deiondra’s absence can be linked to her pregnancy, which has kept her under “house arrest,” speculation looms around Shelomi’s omission. It seems that the basketball star’s choice to board the Alabama bus has affected their relationship, who can forget Deion calling Shelomi’s decision “stupid”?  However, fans expected Shelomi to chime in on the latest milestone but what they got was silence.

Nike announced June 14 as a hard release date about a month ago. Fans eagerly waited for the date since the Nike Air Diamond Turf 1 is inspired by Coach Prime’s life and career which is already sold out with a new edition on the way. Spotted in Nike’s latest Instagram post are Deion Sanders Jr., Shedeur Sanders, and Shilo, who flaunted the Diamond Turf 3 cleats. But unlike the KFC commercial that featured all the Sanders (even Coach Prime’s mother Connie Knight), something seemed to be off in this commercial. Of course, fans were clever enough to point out the void within minutes. While Coach Prime’s three sons got lucky to earn a spot with Deion Sanders, what made Deiondra and Shelomi lose their chance? 

Shelomi has been in a rough patch with Deion Sanders since hitting the transfer portal. Since the ex-Buffs basketball prodigy took the career move on her own, it reportedly left the caring father heartbroken. After a while, the two were seen reconciling their relationship over a game of cornhole in a video released by the Pregame Network. However, that seems to have hit the ground so much so that he now considers himself to be a father of four, counting only Bucky, Shilo, Shedeur, and Deiondra. Meanwhile, Shelomi and Deiondra’s Instagram stories further come with clarity on the photoshoot.

When it comes to endorsing Sanders’ successes on social media, Deiondra is always the first to do so. Nike’s latest campaign has been no exception. Deion Sanders Jr. found a special place in his sister’s story, as the soon-to-be-mom could not stop grooving to Bucky’s song Iggy that she attached to the story with his picture. Curious fans scouted through Shelomi’s Instagram profile to find out whether she, too, has celebrated the Sanders’ Nike success.

Unfortunately, that was not the case. Instead, the new recruit for Alabama A&M focused on promoting herself and the Aggie Maroon jersey, rather than sharing her family’s latest achievement. Shelomi chose to give a shoutout to the Pitt Women’s basketball team. Deion Sanders’ daughter has recently committed herself to basketball after a challenging 2023 season, during which she missed the first six games and scored a season-low two points.

The turning point in the bond between Deion and Shelomi happened when Pilar Sanders, the basketball player’s mother, stood up to support her daughter and even publically diss Deion. The relationship between the two remains unclear at the moment and fans would have to wait and see how it all unfolds.
