Deion Sanders came to Colorado like a whirlwind of transformation that touched several aspects of the citizens besides college football. His presence led to the Buffs selling out every game in the 2023 season, boosting merchandise sales, and garnering nationwide attention through media coverage despite falling 4-8. Not only that, his presence in Boulder has led to a program record of 68,000 applications for the 2024 fall semester.

Deion Sanders wants his bearing etched in Colorado

After one season in Colorado, Deion Sanders is already trying to mesh himself in Boulder with his latest revelation on DNVR Buffs. In their X post, they wrote in the caption, “Coach Prime says he wants “Prime” carved in one of the Flatirons when it is all said and done.” In the video, the Buffs HC expresses his content in Colorado saying, “I’m happy, I’m cool, I’m sound in Boulder. I love it 100%. We gonna build a monument. You know those mounts out there that overlooks the stadium, I want my head in one of them.”

His vision is met with a round of hearty laughter from the hosts Jake Schwanitz and Ryan Koenigsberg after which one of them suggested a one-man Mount Rushmore. The four Presidents’ heads found their place on Mt. Rushmore after representing the most important events in the nation’s history. Coach Prime is making waves in Colorado in just a single year. Add more years to him in Boulder, we never know what he could achieve. Perhaps, the head on the mountains could be one of his achievements!
