It’s time for some shoutout to Shedeur Sanders. The Colorado Buffaloes offensive guard, Tyler Brown got emotional while tracing the friendship he has been sharing with the Buffs quarterback sensation through all these years. The TCU Horned Frogs football native joined the Deion Sanders program in 2023.
However, interestingly it was much before 2023, that Brown and Sanders became close. Earlier it was Coach Prime who took a stand for him, critiquing the NCAA as it denied Brown immediate eligibility. Hence, payback time has arrived as now the offensive line wishes to support Shedeur, going to any extent.

In one of his latest tweets, the offensive guard poured his heart out in praise of Coach Prime’s son. He started by highlighting how long they have been together even though they were sailing on different boats, “I’ve been with Shedeur Sanders for 3 years.” Brown then shifted the focus on Shedeur being a team leader, “He’s a phenomenal teammate and an even better human being! We all love him and would go to war with him any day!”
I’ve been with Shedeur Sanders for 3 years. He’s a phenomenal teammate and an even better human being! We all love him and would go to war with him any day! After he balled out at TCU and I couldn’t play and he knew I was sad. He immediately called me and took the time to see me!

He then reminisced about an instance when the Buffs took against TCU, he was out of the field but Shedeur ensured to be on his side through the difficult times, “After he balled out at TCU and I couldn’t play and he knew I was sad. He immediately called me and took the time to see me!” The Buffaloes took over the TCU with 45-42 in week 1 which left the college football world in shock. But as soon as he stepped into the Buffaloes program, he was robbed of his eligibility. It was none other than Deion Sanders, who then took the role of Brown’s spokesperson.
The support Brown received from the Sanders’ family
Around August, last year, the NCAA found themselves in a questionable position as soon as they denied immediate eligibility to Brown who got transferred from Jackson State. This prompted the Buffs HC to take matters into his own hands. In a press conference, Deion Sanders openly criticized the college football platform, condemning them, “Do you really care (about mental health), or are you saying you care? Are you caring when it’s convenient? Or when it’s profitable?”

Brown was denied eligibility on the grounds of the two-transfer rule. According to their directive, restrictions prevailed on the number of waivers given out to second-time transfers. Going by these rules, Brown had been declared ineligible for 2023. So he could not participate in the match in which the Buffs took charge against the Frogs.
This is something that has left a deep mark on Brown. However, this incident marked a milestone in Shedeur and his friendship as the quarterback paid him a visit to lift up his mood and not to make him feel left out. Hence, to pay back for Shedeur’s kind gesture, accompanying him to war also appears to be a feasible option for Brown!
