Lately, Carson Beck’s life has been a thing to envy. A touted QB1 in the 2025 NFL draft, a Lamborghini owner (in case you haven’t heard), and a starting QB at the top CFB team this season. Not to mention the sweet, sweet fruits that he is reaping from his NIL. Now, Beck has decided to cook up something special for his teammates. Until now, Beck’s bullseye was honing his QB skills, making him the best in the nation. Now that he has made it, landing the top spot in ESPN’s Top 10 QBs this season, Beck has switched gears.
Now, Beck is pivoting his attention from solely his game to the game of his teammates. This quality of Beck, of focusing solely on himself, earned him the reputation of being ‘selfish’. Determined to change that, the Georgia QB is now working his way up a ‘helping hand’ reputation. The fresh addition at UGA this January, Ryan Puglisi, who is also the next QB expected to handle the reins of Kirby Smart’s team once Beck leaves for the NFL, is learning a thing or two from Beck before he leaves.

As reported by Brooks Austin of Dwags Daily FN, Beck is being ‘almost like a vocal coach’ on the training grounds lately. During their practice, Ryan Puglisi threw a ball in the dirt. Well, what does Carson do? “Carson goes over there and kind of shows him what he thought was wrong. We got to square shoulder square. We have to get our hips square. He would continue to do the same thing with some of the younger quarterbacks as the day continued. That’s something that I never saw last year,” Austin said. And that’s just speaking of QBs. Wait till you hear how Beck has been working with his WRs.
Carson Beck is forming new bonds
The QB is not limiting his ‘training’ horizons to just QBs. Beck is also on the lookout for WRs and if he can aid them with anything. It all started when Beck took the reins of shaping the offense after practically their whole receiver room, including Ladd McConkey, Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint, and Brock Bowers, departed for the NFL.

Once Kirby Smart and Co. were confident that Beck was coming back to Georgia, they wasted no time in recruiting some of the best-receiving talents like Trevor Etienne, Colbie Young, London Humphreys, Michael Jackson, and Benjamin Yurosek via the transfer portal.
“I think just building that bond with the new guys that just came in and continuing the chemistry with guys that have already been here. We’re kind of building that mesh with how well we all play together. We haven’t practiced in two months, so it’ll be fun to get back out there. I’m excited for it,” Beck said, expressing his willingness to connect with his pass rushers more. Now that Beck has truly become the epitome of a leader, the season might as well become even smoother for Georgia.
