The College Football Playoff is expanding to include 12 teams this season, replacing the four-team format that lasted for 10 years. While Kiffin is still grappling to figure out the changes, he decides to gulp down some sushi to forget about the future. However, instead of going on a solo date, Kiffin found her daughter Presley and her friends as his company. The Ole Miss HC is seen sharing the table with a 17-year-old daughter, Presley, who is joined by her friends.

The restaurant appears to be a Japanese joint with a sushi spread and chopsticks spotted on the dinner table. In the backdrop is some scenery from Japan, and the eatery is decked up by Japanese lanterns. Surrounded by his daughter and her friends, Coach Kiffin is spotted all smiles, flaunting a victory sign in a white-colored hoodie. Even though the reason for the celebration is unknown, it is believed to be something about Presley’s collegiate journey as a volleyball player.
Kiffin’s USC legacy continues from father to daughter
Presley chose to follow in her father’s footsteps as she stepped foot in college. In March 2024, Kiffin’s daughter announced that she would be committing to the University of Southern California. Early in his career, Kiffin worked at USC, where he joined the then Trojans coach, Pete Carroll, by taking up the role of tight-end coach in 2001.

As seen in Presley’s March 16 Instagram post, Kiffin’s daughter is seen in a USC hoodie posing on the beachside under the bright sun and posted the caption, “I am beyond grateful to announce that I will be continuing my athletic and academic career at the University of Southern California. A huge thank you to the USC coaching staff for this amazing opportunity.” As she is set to make her mark in the Big Ten conference, her move is celebrated by proud father Kiffin.
For Lane Kiffin, the commitment of his daughter, Presley, to USC is not just a win for her, but a win for their entire family’s collegiate legacy. As he celebrated his 49th birthday with his other daughter, Landry, who chose to attend his current program, Ole Miss Rebels, Kiffin couldn’t be prouder. The joy and pride he feels as a father are palpable, adding a deeper layer to his role as the Ole Miss HC.
