Gavin Kuld reignites an old feud. Remember that whole drama between former Colorado QB Gavin Kuld and star quarterback Shedeur Sanders? Yeah, it’s back! After staying low for a couple of months, Kuld has resurfaced online, and things are about to get messy again.

On July 17th, Kuld dropped a cryptic message on his X account: “Still on y’all’s minds. Now that’s crazy!!! I’ve been quiet for over two months ” It seems the Shedeur saga just won’t die down. But Kuld isn’t just reminiscing – he wants to set the record straight.

He reposted his X message with an even more cryptic Instagram story: “Gonna be baffling once y’all realize the picture that’s been painted for the public about me isn’t the same as what’s transpired over time. And that’s media 4 ya.” Basically, Kuld feels the media portrayed him unfairly in the whole thing. He even added the link to his X handle, practically inviting everyone to join the discussion on this months-old feud. “Everyone sea[e]ms to love to talk about it so let’s hear,” he wrote. 

Now, it all began back in May when Kuld dissed Shedeur in a now-private YouTube interview. He claimed Shedeur treated him coldly, hinting at bad blood even during last year’s games. “The second I came in, he [Shedeur] told the coaching staff that I would never have the chance to be the backup quarterback… And he was completely mute to me.” This ultimately led Kuld to leave Colorado and enter the transfer portal, but his frustration didn’t end there.

He took a jab at Shedeur’s supposedly “selfish” NIL spending habits. “Look at Arizona, look at Fifita, he did with all his money…look at Colorado this guy has got six cars and an apartment,” Kuld ranted. Now things are turning wild for the QB. 

Shedeur stays silent and Gavin Kuld gets roasted

Even though Kuld took the initial brutal jab at Shedeur, the Buffs‘ star QB tried to ‘take the high road’. Thus, the backlash against Kuld is now heating up further. Commentators are accusing Kuld of ‘chasing clout’. The ISmokeHipHipLive YouTuber even roasted Kuld’s character, claiming his interview was basically a whine-fest about not getting a share of Shedeur’s NIL earnings. He also suggested that “[Kuld] really belongs in a Juco level,” taking a brutal shot at his skills.

Soon analyst Kevin Borba also added to it saying, Kuld’s comments as “pocket-watching” Shedeur, implying Shedeur wasn’t giving back enough. Borba also firmly noted, “It’s Shedeur’s money, it’s his brand, it’s his name, we don’t have any right to tell Shedeur how to spend his money.”

Looks like the internet isn’t Kuld’s friend right now either. Facing a barrage of criticism, Kuld’s recent online activity leaves us wondering – is he trying to clear his name or just grab more headlines?
