This has happened twice in a row for the Boulder program, which completed this milestone back in 2023 as well, marking it their 10th time in history to do it. Still, the trolls can’t seem to digest this success of the team and stormed X to let lose their backlash.

A user predicted a terrible season for the team and wrote, “Just to watch y’all go 1-8 again in conference play 😂😂😂🤡🤡” This definitely mocks the spirit of all the enthusiastic fans who are waiting on edge to witness Coach Prime and their beloved team. The fans react harshly to CU’s ‘sold-out’ announcement

Though the 2023 season was disastrous for the team, Coach Prime and his newest roster ended up providing hope to the fans that this time, they’re sure to go the long way. Hence, the high numbers of ticket sales 3 months before their first game against the Nebraska Huskers. But the reactions from social media users just go to show that they have very low expectations from the Buffaloes.
