As far as his legacy is concerned, the 23-year-old is touted to be the greatest young QB in the NCAA league. Now he’s knocking at the door of a prestigious collegiate award.

After becoming the MVP for his performance against the Oregon Ducks earlier today, Penix is set on his next objective. The quarterback has somewhat crashed Bo Nix’s Heisman Trophy aspirations. Now a $38.18 billion company is rallying behind him to get a nod ahead in the race for the coveted prize.

The NCAA 2023 season is coming to an end and it’s time for the Heisman Trophy contenders. With the backing of a $38.18 billion brand behind him is Michael Penix Jr.. In a recently launched video by Adidas Football US, the ad campaign features the player making his case for his nomination.

The video is captioned, “We’ve said it once and we’ll say it again #Penix4Heisman” and is followed by an arrow emoji. The arrow symbol is the iconic celebration of Penix as he puts his hands forward in an arrowhead position. While scoring a touchdown, the QB’s hands come out to mark the celebration.

With the Huskies, he has scored 32 touchdowns and 8 interceptions throughout the season. Apart from this, Penix has been a consistent performer for the side and is one of the main reasons behind their unbeatable record. Even in the game earlier today, Penix came out with flying colors. He scored a touchdown with 319 passing yards and a completion percentage of nearly 70%.

These are just mesmerizing numbers for a young player trying to make it big in the NCAA. The next step for sure is the NFL, however, the youngster has already set his objectives.
