5-star QB Dylan Raiola finally laid down his commitment decision after heated pulls from both Georgia and Nebraska. He’s joining Nebraska, where his father and uncle previously played. With his commitment, the 5-star QB has become the highest-ranked recruit for the Cornhuskers since 2008.

Colorado faces a similar scene as their recent commit Matthew Bedford flipped to Oregon. The 3-star prospect was a former Cordova (TN) High School football player who joined Indiana as a guard. One week after declaring his commitment to Colorado, there has been a change of plans. But the good news for the Buffs’ fans is that an immediate counter seems to have unintentionally occurred.

It’s currently a season of welcoming and letting go with a few surprising flips in between. After committing to the Bulldogs, 5-star QB Dylan Raiola made a last-minute change in his commitment plan to choose Nebraska over Georgia. And just as fans are trying to get over the shock, Colorado’s recent transfer commit Matthew Bedford flipped to the Oregon Ducks.

The Indiana transfer announced his decision to de-commit from Colorado on Twitter. He said, “I want to express my deepest gratitude to the University of Colorado and their amazing coach, coaching staff, and community for their support and belief in me… However, upon reflection, I believe that the University of Oregon aligns perfectly with my long-term goals and I am thrilled to join the Oregon Ducks and contribute my best on and off the football field.

It’s becoming harder and harder to keep track of all these last-minute mind changes and commitment flips. As soon as news of Bedford and Raiola’s flip reached fans, they had their heads turned with another transfer news.
