Despite a modest four wins in his debut season, Sanders believes that the Buffaloes are poised for success, especially with the anticipated expansion of the College Football Playoff to 12 teams.

With significant additions from the transfer portal and his existing pool of talent comprising stand-out talents like Shedeur Sanders and two-way star Travis Hunter, Sanders exudes confidence in his team’s ability to compete at the highest level by channeling his inner J.J. Watts. He boldly declares that the Buffaloes have the potential to secure a coveted playoff spot in the upcoming 2024 season and aims to inspire the pool of new players with some words of wisdom.

“Last year we didn’t, still hope this year we’re going to live up to expectations,” the Colorado head coach had opined in his recent Super Bowl interview on ESPN. In his post on Instagram, Coach Prime seeks to inspire his players to achieve the greater goal in life. He takes a queue from J.J. Watt’s famous quote, “Some people chase money. Some people chase fame. Some chase greatness – and that’s what I’m trying to do.” Suggesting that his players should not chase the money and chase greatness instead, since “If you chase greatness, the money is going to come, don’t chase the money. Because greatness don’t come just because of the money. The money comes because of the greatness.”

The Sanders family has opted to continue their journey with the Colorado Buffaloes for another season. Shedeur Sanders, the talented quarterback, along with his brother Shilo, has decided to forgo the 2024 NFL Draft in favor of furthering their college careers. On a recent day at the Champion Center practice field, the Colorado Buffaloes welcomed a special group of guests: members of the United States Marine Corps. Under the guidance of Coach Prime, the team engaged in a rigorous training session documented by Well Off Media. This unique experience pushed the Buffs to their limits, fostering teamwork reminiscent of soldiers supporting one another on the battlefield. Led by Deion Sanders and his coaching staff, the session went beyond traditional drills, providing an advanced bonding exercise for the team.
