It’s no surprise that Travis Hunter, Colorado’s versatile athlete, has found a new passion in bull riding. The PBR World Finals, a melting pot of sports enthusiasts, has been a frequent haunt for Hunter this offseason. Accompanied by his fiancée, Leanne Lenee, they’ve been spotted celebrating Lionel Messi’s historic goal in Miami and soaking in the action at the Cowtown Coliseum. It’s clear that Hunter’s interest in bull riding is more than just a fad.  

Hunter isn’t picky when it comes to sports. He’s always game to learn something new and be an enthusiastic fan. Earlier, Lenee playfully posted, “teaching him the greatest sport in the world” while on their first soccer date, showing her support for her partner. Now, she’s gushing over her “country boy” as Hunter immerses himself in the world of bull riding. However, the Buffs safety couldn’t help but laugh at Lenee’s comment.

Travis Hunter’s country boy fashion takes over PBR

Travis Hunter‘s first rodeo experience was a simple affair, with him donning a classic white T-shirt and jeans. However, the sights and sounds of the event left a lasting impression, prompting the Colorado star to fully embrace his ‘cowboy’ side for his second outing. He sported a stylish printed shirt tucked into jeans, topped with a trendy cowboy hat. The internet erupted excitedly over his new look, with fans from all over Colorado flooding the comment section with admiration. His fiancée, loving his new look, playfully posted “my little country boy 😍😂” as a response. Now, Buffs safety, Shilo Sanders, clearly amused by Hunter’s outfit, responded to the comment with a bunch of laughing emojis.

It’s not just Shilo but a few fans also poked fun at his outfit, while others approved it. Even Hunter’s head coach, Deion Sanders, known for his fashion flair, chimed in with a simple “Clean”  comment. Now, getting a compliment from the fashion-forward coach clearly means a lot. Hunter’s social media posts over the past few days show that he thoroughly enjoys his rodeo adventure.

Hunter’s surprise visit makes Crimber’s day

In a touching gesture, Travis Hunter decided to surprise young rodeo sensation John Crimber with a personal “good luck” wish. The rookie rider, son of the legendary bull rider Paulo Crimber, was thrilled to see his favorite college player. He even promised to strike a Heisman pose, a tribute to the Buffs’ two-way star, and he kept his word. This unexpected encounter left a lasting impression on both Crimber and the fans, showcasing the positive influence Hunter has on the PBR community. 

Crimber shared the moment on Instagram, captioning it “Had to do it for my boy” and mentioned Hunter. He went on to win round three with fellow rider Daylon Swearingen, celebrating in front of a packed house with a $35,000 prize and, of course, the Heisman pose. Meanwhile, Hunter’s social media was abuzz with stories from the arena, and he hinted, “First time, definitely not my last,” suggesting he’ll be back for more PBR action.
