Deion Sanders, the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, appears to have instilled confidence in his son, Deion Sanders Jr. Like father like son, dreaming big runs in the Sanders family. Bucky has everything sorted for himself for the future. He plans to diversify his investment portfolio by buying a team.

However, it is a fanciful thought since all this will transpire in reality only once Coach Prime retires. Meanwhile, this idea by Deion Jr. has received mixed reactions from the Buffs fans.

One tweet from Deion Sanders Jr. led to an outburst of reactions on social media. Bucky chose to answer a simple question brought forward by a Buffs fan. The question read, “Serious question… what will you do once your dad retires/moves on from coaching?” Later, in another tweet, quoting the question, Deion Sanders’ son made a courageous reply. As claimed by Deion Jr., “I’ll own a team by then.

This was not something the fans had been expecting. Even though he started as a wide receiver for SMU Mustangs, he gradually extended his network in business. Establishing the Colorado Buffaloes as a brand has been his brainchild. Besides this, Deion Jr. succeeded with his project Well Off Media, whose net worth revolves around $64.3K to $386K. He has also tried his luck in launching his streetwear clothing brand, Well Off Forever. Hence, having multiple passions has landed Deion Jr. in criticism.

Fans react to Deion Jr.’s idea

Not many know Deion Jr. has even shot into the limelight as a rapper. With a gap of 11 years, he released three songs: his first song, Swaggin, in 2011 and two songs, Money Old and Kandy, in 2022. Now that Deion Sanders’ son has expressed his desire to own a team, not everyone has taken it positively in the Buffs fandom.

A fan highlighted Bucky’s wish in a negative light. Bringing parallels with Coach Prime, the Buffs enthusiast hinted at the coach’s son for showing off his father’s wealth and commented, “Owning a team is not like flexing your daddy’s wristwatch.” Another fan wrote: “Lol have you ever made any money on your own without nepotism being involved?” while someone expressed backing: “They will have to force Coach Prime to retire!!! He is doing what he loves.”

In support of Deion Jr., one of them expressed complete confidence in him and advised him to have dead ears for all the criticism, “Baby prime f*ck them.. Family business at its finest… A lot of people need to adopt Prime moves.” To express his gratitude for the support, he re-tweeted the post with the caption, “love my brother!”
