Dеion Sandеrs is not only running a college football program; he is also running a family that consists of five grown-up kids. While it is a given that Dеion Sandеrs loves all of them, it is not always possible for him to address their wrongs and good deeds at once. Therefore, as a father, Dеion Sandеrs has a chеat code to keep his kids in check—he gives out a list of his favorite kids on a month-by-month basis.
The kid who stands out to him as ovеrall “consistent” throughout the month naturally gets crownеd as No. 1, or what Dеion Sandеrs calls his “favorite child.” While his two daughters, Dеiondra and Shеlomi, were earlier mentioned by Coach Primе to be at the bottom of the list, you must be curious who got the top position, aka “son of the month.”
On June 5th, as showcased by Well Off Media, during a little break in between the rigorous summer practice, Coach Prime and all three of his sons gathered together for a candid father-son catch-up. As the conversation went on, Shilo Sanders amusingly posed the burning question, “So who’s your favorite son this month? That’s the question I wanted to know.”

Coach Prime, taking a moment to consider, looked at Deion Jr. and responded, “See, right now Bucky has been consistent. We have been spending more time.” This declaration crowned Deion Jr., also known as Bucky, as the “son of the month,” causing Shilo to feel a bit disheartened. He protested, “You can’t choose Bucky. That’s like the safest.”
Maintaining the playful tone, Deion Sanders then added with a teasing smile, “You might be three right now,” placing Shilo at the bottom of his list. This lighthearted exchange further took a humorous turn as Shilo, ever the comedian, feigned annoyance at Coach Prime’s decision to give him the last position, putting him in a playful choke hold and continuing their banter with laughter and affection. While Shilo started playfully sulking at Coach Prime’s decision, Shedeur, who got second place, silently accepted it. Why not? Unlike Shilo, he is, at least, somewhere satisfactory.

But what can Shilo say about getting the last place on the list? After all, his recent bankruptcy filing and the resurfacing of his 2016 assault lawsuit involving John Darjean have indeed given Coach Prime a hard time as a father. However, keeping aside his recent financial disaster, Shilo managed to take a jab at Shedeur by calling him a legit “scammer.”
Shilo labeled Shedeur a “scammer”
Following Deion Sanders’ revelation of his favorite sons’ list, the Buffaloes head coach threw a tricky question to his three sons: “If somebody needed something like $10, a $100 grand, a 10 band, who would be the first one to let them borrow?”

To this question, Shilo wasted no time, playfully pointing his finger at his younger brother and said, “I can’t trust Shedeur though, cause Shedeur be like, ‘I’m gonna pay you back, bro,’ but he’s a scammer if you know him personally.”
Well, we don’t know if Shilo is a legitimate victim of Shedeur’s scams, but the playful exchange highlighted the close-knit bond and humor that define the Sanders family.
