After getting transferred to Florida, the fans are suggesting Cormani McClain take a scholarship. After the Billy Napier and Jaden Rashada feud, fans are uncertain about McClain’s future with the Gators. Georgia quarterback Jaden Rashada signed a letter of intent with Florida in December however the deal didn’t manifest completely. Rashada then filed a lawsuit against the Gators’ head coach Billy Napier and Booster for defrauding him of $13.85 million. 

According to the lawsuit, the deal was said to be worth $13.85 million and Rashada was promised $1 million by Napier and Booster. Later they turned down their promise which led to the entire feud. However, after this scenario, the fans are taking a dig at McClain after his transfer from Colorado to Florida.

Fans suggest a scholarship for Cormani McClain

After Flordia’s defensive lineman Michai Boireau’s arrest due to over-speeding, All Kinds of Weather Twitter account tweeted, “Among other things to make of this Michai Boireau incident: he may have just handed Cormani McClain his scholarship.” 

While one agreed to the tweet by writing, “I’d bet you’re right.” Adding to the drill, another fan wrote, “First thought I had lol.”

However, one fan highlighted the Scholarship status of Florida, where they are over their scholarship limit and he emphasized how Cormani’s attitude would be integral for him. A fan wrote “They’re one over the scholarship limit, I think, so his dismissal wouldn’t leave any room. I also think they want Cormani to earn it in the fall with his attitude and work in practice, in meetings, and in the classroom.”

Fans are already pointing out this thing. However, this Napier-Rashada dispute would affect Florida’s reputation and its existing players.

In the recently uploaded video of “Crain and Company” YouTube channel, the host emphasized the consequences Florida would face due to the Napier-Jaden feud. The host said, “If you ask me because recruits talk and more importantly recruits families talk, and if your son has offers from multiple big-time schools, which is the only type of player that Florida recruits why would you even risk giving Florida the time of day right now. When they have shown the ability to not come through on their so-called promises it’s just a bad business decision.

The Florida recruit would be thinking twice following this situation. Moreover, Florida’s on-field performance is also not up to the expected levels.
