Deion Sanders' new kicks sold out instantly—Is Prime Time still the king of style?

The fight for Deion Sanders’ Diamond Turf Max ‘96 sneakers is real! Fans who had been eyeing the Prime shoes in the Buffs’ official colorway can only indulge in wishful thinking. And yes, while it’s a big achievement on the Buffs HC’s part, it’s saddening for the public, especially for those eagerly waiting for the release.

As previously reported, Coach Prime’s DT Max ‘96 sneakers will be available in four colors, excluding the original re-release. One of these colorways was released and sold out, the rest are yet to have an official release date. But something extraordinary just happened to the black and gold version and fans are going crazy over it.

In Deion Sanders’ new IG post on July 30, the Colorado HC was seen flexing his Nike Prime ‘96 sneakers in the Buffs colorway. And why shouldn’t he? After all, as the caption says, “The PRIMES Black/Gold rumor is they ain’t out yet but they sold out.” Even before the announcement of an official release date, these highly-anticipated Coach Prime Nike shoes went out of stock!

The four DT Max ‘96 colorways include the OG black, white, and maize which is already sold out, the “Colorado Home” white and gold (potential release date on August 15), the “Colorado Road” black and gold (the one in the topic, unreleased yet sold out,) and the “Falcons” black, charcoal gray, red, and gold (to be released “Holiday 2024”). One Buffs fan spoke the truth for the bulk of the crowd saying, “I need them. It’s so hard to find the DT96’s I need them Black & Gold.” This major accomplishment only portrays how popular Coach Prime is among the fans and this is far from the first of its kind.

Back on June 14, Deion Sanders accomplished a similar thing with the $170 OG black, white, and maize colorway. Just minutes after becoming available to the public, the shoes went out of stock. Coach Prime then took to his IG to flex his launch success posting, “They said “I Sold Out,” they must’ve been talking about my shoes!

Have an interesting take?

Following this sell-out, Deion Sanders assured his fans that there are more colorways on the way. Hopefully, the next batch will get released before they sell out. But even so, fans need not worry because as Coach Prime said, “We’re just getting started, I can’t wait till u see the other color waves & styles that are coming.” There’s still time and a chance to get your hands on the highly popular DT Max ‘96 sneakers.
