The California Golden Bears celebrated and were overjoyed when Jaydn announced in December of 2023 that he’d return to play his junior season rather than enter the transfer portal. Now he’ll be competing with the likes of Carson Beck, Shedeur Sanders, and Travis Hunter for the Heisman but as per his recent statement, it’s not outperforming Shedeur, it’s his house.

Jaydn Ott, the running back for the Golden Bears, had a phenomenal run with the team in only his second year in the program. He already holds 12 touchdowns in his name. However, if given a choice, Ott would rather have the almost $10 million house Deion got.

In an exclusive interview with Essentially Sports, Jaydn Ott spoke to us with great detail about the upcoming season and was also heard praising the NIL deals, which, in turn, is motivating the youth to perform better. Later, we asked him if he could borrow one item from Shedeur Sanders for a day, what would it be? It is safe to say that Ott aimed right for the treasure chest when he mentioned the mansion that Shedeur recently purchased for Deion as a sign of homage.

Ott playfully mentioned how he would love to have the $10 million mansion and said, “Man. I’ve seen he just bought his pops a house. Hey, I’m going to probably take that house. Yeah, I’m going to need that house.” The fans were dumbfounded when they learned of the massive purchase that the trio of Shilo, Shedeur, and Bucky made for their father, rightfully making it the most valuable possession that the Colorado QB has bought. Thus, it makes sense that Ott would want the Sanders’ recently bought mansion for Coach Prime, which has been termed as the “We got to win” house. With that being said, here’s a brief look at the incident that almost provoked a tear from Deion Sanders.

Back in January, the Well Off Media YouTube channel, led by Deion Sanders Jr., documented the experience of Deion walking into the new mansion that the three sons purchased for him in Colorado. The sons meant it as a sign of goodwill and assurance to their father since they’ll be declaring for the NFL Draft in 2025 and they wanted Deion to live comfortably during that time.

Bucky attached the idea of glory to the mansion when he said, “This is ‘We got to win’ house. We got to win, that’s what this is.” To which, Deion seemed nothing short of sentimental and was heard saying, “My three sons want to do this for me. Wow. This is awesome. It almost provokes a tear.” With this massive acquisition for the Sanders family, the mansion became quite a piece of envy for the fans and more recently, Jaydn Ott, as he prepares to take on the hardships of the FBS Division in his 3rd season with the Golden Bears.
