“Everybody is going to be challenged,” was the primary assertion of Coach Prime. ” If it’s not out by your teammates, it’s going to be from your opponents,” stated he. Given the mammoth task of redemption ahead of the Buffs after a 4-8 season, sure enough, it will be as challenging for the coaches, especially Deion Sanders as well as all the student-athletes. The teams are recruiting only the best for the 2024 season. Amidst this, Coach Prime has to make the most out of his 19 recruits and existing players.
Moreover, Colorado being a huge name in itself has earned some serious competition. Learning from the small play-calling mistakes they did last season, Coach Prime is not taking any major chances and hence preparig them for the toughest situations on field. “I want to challenge them in school to go to the next level. Not just past to get by. Want you dominating classroom as well,” stated Prime. Hence, Deion Sanders’ hardcore training to the athletes will not only prepare them for the upcoming season, but also for the pro league in the longer run. Safe to say, the officials are not only preparing the players but also themselves to bear the blow by players shifting to the NFL.
