The Champion Center practice field on Wednesday morning witnessed a historic day. Deion Sanders invited the United States Marine Corps, who ran Deion Sanders’ players through their extreme routines. The Marine drills by Colorado players were perfectly captured by the Well Off Media. The process was any die-hard athlete’s dream, with teammates deadlifting each other, and others getting a ‘taste of Marine Corps’ at 7 in the morning.

With time, the rigorous mental and physical drills from Marines have reduced. Coach Prime, with all his old-school style, paired with his fervent motivation to organize the best team bonding activities, birthed the idea of inviting the USMC to Folsom Field. The training sessions took ESPN’s Brian Windhorst down the lane of memory, reminding him of the day when “Dwayne Wade and LeBron James tried to kill each other.”

In July 2010, the Miami Heat arrived at the Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., for their Training Camp at Hurlburt Field. It marked history for the franchise as it was the first time the Heat had hit the road for practice sessions. However, the team bonding exercises rather ended up nastily between Wade and James as Windhorst claimed, “We never put them all on the same team. I mean, it was like, every day was a war.” The effects of the painstaking training by airmen reaped sweet fruits, as the Miami Heat became the second team in the whole of NBA History to win a National Championship despite trailing three separate times in the postseason. Speaking of mental toughness forged by old-school drills, Miami became a prime example of it.

Now that the Buffs have undergone the conditioning, the fans have high hopes for them to emerge victorious. Deion Sanders has made several announcements that have led his fans to believe that the Buffs will get their redemption this season, come what may! The dauntless spirit was echoing from each Buffs player as they sweated through the tiring sessions.

The recruit that each Buffs fan has high hopes from, OT Jordan Seaton, carried boxes with ammo down the field, while Shedeur Sanders seemed like he was ready for his second drill. The best was the two-way star Travis Hunter, who was highly energized after he crawled, bear-walked, and ran all over.
