With many claiming that Coach Prime would leave as soon as Shedeur and Shilo leave for the NFL. Now we have the man himself, Deion Sanders, setting the record straight. In a clip posted to X on July 29th by College Sports on SiriusXM, we see Coach Prime finally destroying the biggest misconception around him. “I’m going to leave when my kids leave, that’s the dumbest thing ever,” Deion mentioned. Coach Prime has been in Colorado since 2023, despite having a terrible season back then. The man still managed to build CU up to a multi-million dollar program. He took a team that had nothing and gave it the potential No.1 QB Shedeur Sanders and best college football player Travis Hunter and also a hefty valuation of $280 million all in his first year.

To think that he’s gonna leave all that behind is plain dumb. Keyshawn Johnson put it perfectly back on Undisputed Live. “It would be too much for them to surrender the athletic program to Deion Sanders,” Johnson had mentioned. To bring Deion on board would mean giving him all the control, and no team on the list would be willing to risk that. That’s not all. Deion is also not that fond of taking up a team that is already established. Prime To Colorado was the first one to break this amazing news back on July 25th. The NCAA was going to make some changes to the scholarship programs for all college sports. However, the best news for Coach Prime is that the NCAA is adding 20 extra scholarships to the football program. That increases the number from 85 to 105. “And just imagine all the talent that Coach Prime is going to bring in to add to the Buffs,” Prime To Colorado mentioned in his video.
