He delivered a heartfelt speech, reminiscing about their journey together, before popping the question with a stunning princess-cut diamond ring. Deiondra, overcome with emotion, said yes, and Jacquees couldn’t contain his happiness. 

On July 15, the Quemix rapper shared a photo of Deiondra flaunting her giant diamond ring on social media, writing, “She gone be a Broadnax soon…💍😇@deiondrasanders @jewelryunlimited.” This seemingly innocent post caught some fans off guard. While many congratulated the couple, others felt a sense of male chauvinism in how Jacquees phrased it.

Now, the debate around last names wasn’t new. Rodriquez Jacquees Broadnax had previously insisted their baby take his last name. After some lighthearted discussions, they decided on the cute nickname, Baby Que, for now, a playful nod to Daddy Jacquees.

Deiondra quickly cleared the air, saying, “What I actually said was my last name will be going in our child’s name because I’m not married and still use my last name.” Things might differ now that they’re engaged, but it’s still up in the air.
