The player started his career in 2019 and joined the University of Houston as a fresher. During his time at Houston, he owned a 3-star rank by totaling 13 tackles and 1 sack this season. Brimming with ambition, Nwankwo came with an instant reply asserting his choice for the first round. While attempting to propel Nwankwo move forward in a pushing action, he claimed, “I’m pushing you, sir. I’m back here pushing you every time a scout comes here. I’m going to say you better go get it.” 

Sanders further solidified his faith in Nwankwo’s potential affirming “Watch what he do. I cry to you before I lie to you, watch what he does………Don’t let the size fool you. That is a killer.”  This encapsulates Coach Prime’s faith in the player who joined the team, bringing with him a reputation as the “Block Bully”.

Nwankwo brings dominance to Colorado’s defensive line

Possessing a stature of 5-foot-11 and weighing 290-pound force, the player has showcased exceptional durability during the four seasons when he was in Houston. With 40 games and 33 starts under his belt, he is a valuable addition to Colorado’s defense line. With his exceptional IQ in football backed up by his physical traits, his arrival is poised to prepare Buffaloes for its transition to the Big 12 in 2024.
