Deion Sanders is having a season to remember with the Colorado Buffaloes. There?s one area that the team needs to focus on; consistency. The team looks strong and is hard-working, however, they lack the discipline to give consistent performances. After winning three on a trot, the side lost two in a row, before winning another and losing their recent game.
It shatters the morale of a side and the HC knows that to stand a chance at playoffs, the team needs to turn in consistent results by winning most of their games. Coach Prime was critical about one facet of the side?s loss against the Cardinals. In what was looking like an easy win for the hosts, the visitors came from behind to take home the victory. The epic collapse of the Buffs has come under scrutiny with Sanders calling one moment that triggered the Buffs’ downfall.

It?s not often that a side loses after maintaining a 29-point lead against the opposition. Ask the Colorado Buffaloes side and they?d voice out the same thing. However, things didn?t go to plan as Coach Prime crashed out in an anti-climax against the Stanford Cardinals. As per the HC, there was one moment that started the side?s downfall. Elic Ayomanor the Cardinals WR was almost unstoppable post halftime and forced a bluff by catching the ball above Travis Hunter.
Coach Prime on Travis going up against Ayomanor: “we didn’t play well, it’s not all on Travis. The 97 yard touchdown is where it all started. Our secondary did not play their best game, especially the cornerbacks.”

Deion was quick to highlight the moment as one of the primary reasons that led to the side?s disparaging loss. Buffs gave away their deficit and it was all one-way traffic from there. Stanford making the home side pay for their lapses and scoring freely in the overtime. There was also a lapse committed by Shedeur Sanders as he failed to make use of the Buffs possession with an ill-advised interception. Going by Deion Sanders, the HC wasn?t one bit impressed as his side conceded an easy victory against the visitors.

Coach Prime is working really hard with the side to win crucial matches. He has set some high standards for the team and expects the side to play in the same manner. However, Saturday?s game was unlike anything even Sanders would?ve imagined. From scoring heavily and dominating the proceedings to crashing out when it mattered, the Buffs had a game to forget.
Sanders looked truly upset and disturbed with the loss but credited the rampant Stanford side for their victory. “Hats off to our opposition today, I am truly upset, truly disturbed. Started off the game wonderfully, and finally put it together in the first half. You surrender three touchdowns unanswered, I can?t fathom it right now. I felt complacency going into the half. I just didn?t like how I felt going in at half-time.? Against the all-important clash against UCLA, the HC is hoping that the side would come back strongly by getting a victory.
