NIL deals are not only for buying Lamborghinis or penthouses, but it is more than that which is proved by the charitable activities of Oregon Ducks’ QB, Dillon Gabriel. The star athlete always had a wish to do something for the people or community who helped him get where he is today. Along with that, he wanted to make a difference to the people of his hometown through his charitable outlets. 

That is why the quarterback donated his early NIL earnings for shoes and accessories to the boys of the Mililani High School basketball program. Relating to this event, the QB said, “When NIL started out, I just gave sneakers and accessories to the basketball team. Super small, right? ” Moreover, he mentioned that the thing could be small for some people but you should think it can change somebody’s life. Recently, Gabriel inked a new NIL deal with a jewelry company named The GLD Shop. The most interesting fact is that during the offseason treat, the QB presented his teammate’s customized jewelry of this brand. The brand designed Oregon-themed jewelry, such as the Oregon Ducks mascot, the University Block O-logo, and so on. At the start of his college football career, He was at UCF and recorded 3,653 yards and 29 touchdowns with the Gasparilla Bowl MVP in 2019. After that, in 2020, he caught 3,570 yards and 32 touchdowns along with the Davey O’Brien National Quarterback of the Year award and the Maxwell Award. Then, in 2021, he recorded 814 yards and 9 touchdowns with severe injury. 

Presently, in 2023, he earned All-Big 12 First Team and recorded 3,660 yards and 30 touchdowns. Moreover, in 2022, he was the Big 12 Offensive Newcomer of the Year. So, you can imagine the potential of the player. Now, it is expected that the quarterback can bring more success to the Ducks in the upcoming season.
