The EA Sports College Football 25 has unveiled its cover, sparking a surprising Shedeur Sanders vs. Travis Hunter debate. With Deion Sanders’ son absent from the covers, the question on everyone’s mind is what propelled Hunter to surpass the Buffaloes’ quarterback sensation. Here’s a reliable source to shed some light on this unexpected turn of events.

Providing valuable insights is none other than Deion Sanders’ confidant and a prominent advocate of the Colorado Buffaloes, Uncle Neely. His perspective on the Travis Hunter situation, as revealed in the DNVR Sports interview, adds a new dimension to the debate

Uncle Neely joins Jake Schwanitz to land some reactions about Hunter’s breakthrough. As their conversation rolled, it was found that a few months back, they both were under the assumption that neither Shedeur nor Travis stood a chance on the EA Sports College Football 25 cover. However, cut to the present, Uncle Neely’s analysis seems to have changed: “The most talked about players the most anticipated players are on the Colorado Buffalo’s roster that’s Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter. One of them had to be on there and man it’s Travis Hunter.”

Uncle Neely further points out how the chance has turned out in Hunter’s favor. “Behind the scenes video has been coming out look like a great day out there. I could not be prouder and happier for Travis because not only is he well deserving from his athletic ability, Travis is a gamer like so he it’s a win-win for him,” he said. Even though his close pal’s son got snubbed, his rallying for Hunter is justified.

Hunter’s edge over Shedeur

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound, Colorado’s two-way phenom becomes the first Buff to earn first-team All-American honors since 2010. As this gave him an edge over Shedeur Sanders, the quarterback’s heavy sack record further propelled Hunter to get featured on the cover. Like Uncle Neely, Matt McChesney, the former offensive guard, predicted that Hunter would be the one to be featured. However, he proposed an entirely different reason, which was an advantage for Hunter.

As per McChesney’s analysis, “People aren’t going to just be buying the game because Prime and Shedeur on the cover there’s going to be a lot of people that don’t buy the game because they’d be on the cover. The hate is real out there.” No matter what reason it might have been, ultimately, Hunter gets to enjoy the best piece of the cake.

As Hunter’s selection for the EA Sports College Football 25 cover marks a significant milestone in his career, it also presents a golden opportunity for the Colorado Buffaloes to elevate their program. With Hunter’s face now endorsing the game, the Buffaloes can attract the best young talents to Boulder, potentially transforming their future.
