While Coach Prime is busy dealing with player transfers, an 11-year-old football prodigy has already claimed his spot in his roster. Known for his impressive early skills, Baby Gronk, aka Madden San Miguel, has gained online fame for his intense training routine and healthy diet — all at an age when most kids are just starting out. His dad, who seems determined to make him a football star, even named him after legendary coach John Madden and nicknamed him after star tight end Rob Gronkowski.

While Baby Gronk might not be in high school yet, he dreams about playing for the big leagues. Though years away from college, this young prodigy has already “committed” to playing for Colorado, even after previously showing interest in rival schools.

Baby Gronk has taken recruiting matters into his own hands and declared his commitment to the University of Colorado Buffaloes.  He announced this big news on his X handle with a fancy graphic featuring Coach Prime and the team’s star player, Travis Hunter. Baby Gronk (whose profile is likely managed by his dad) wrote, “I WILL PLAY FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO.” He stated the same on his Instagram handle: “After a long chat with Coach Prime,” he’s decided to play for the Buffs. Now, Coach Prime hasn’t said anything about this yet.

While it’s all a bit playful, it does spark an interesting thought: could this young phenom, known for his flashy skills, be the next big personality for the Buffs? Of course, this is all speculation. After all, Baby Gronk has a history of changing his mind quickly. He’s pledged his allegiance to three different schools in the past two weeks! It started with Ohio State, flipped to Michigan Wolverines, and now Colorado. He’s even “committed” to Oklahoma and LSU before backing out. So, will Baby Gronk actually suit up for the Buffs in 2031?

Coach Prime is on a mission to make the Buffaloes the hottest team in college football. And his primary strategy for that is to focus on star power. His quarterback son, Shedeur, is already the top earner in college football with a massive $4.6 million valuation. And then there’s Travis Hunter, their star wide receiver/cornerback, who rakes in $2.7 million. Thus, the Sanders crew and Hunter have transformed the Buffaloes from a struggling team with a terrible 1-11 record into a flashy, money-making machine that loves a good publicity stunt. But what happens when Hunter and Shedeur head to the NFL in 2025? Who will fill those shoes?

Here’s where Baby Gronk comes in. Now, whether it’s a playful publicity stunt or not, and whether Baby Gronk joins the team in 2031 (or even sticks with his commitment), the idea of him playing under Coach Prime is entertaining. One thing’s for sure: if Baby Gronk does end up in Colorado, Deion Sanders Jr. will be there to capture all the viral moments.
