The color pink has been the biggest antagonist for this year’s Chicago Bears’ top pick, Caleb Williams. The quarterback has always been in the limelight for his personal choices, dodging negative attacks.

Travis Hunter, like Caleb Williams, is about to embark on a journey of personal style. However, his influence is unique — his fiancée, Leanna Lenee. Her style and creativity will guide Hunter, adding a touch of pink to his on-field persona.

Now that Hunter is in the limelight for beating Shedeur Sanders and securing his place to get featured in the EA College Football 25 cover, he has been the talk of the town. As posted by the Buffs star himself on his YouTube channel, he is now enjoying a slight change in his routine. The grueling training sessions have been replaced by posing for the camera. Trying some poses, an excited Hunter came up with an interesting possibility. As the cameraman focuses on his personalized cleats with “HUNTER” and “12” engraved, he admitted that his styling credits go to Leanna. “Leanna be doing her thing man. She do her thing every time she never fails me. She might help me with some pink cleats next year you never know,” quipped Hunter.

As he makes tough poses, wearing pink cleats can land him in much trouble acquiring the “too feminine” tag for a player. However, Hunter refuses to care about negativity as long as it is Leanna who serves as an inspiration guarding him from the backlash that Williams faced.

Williams’ pink nails became the talk of the town

In March, college football fans, including critics, got ripped into two groups when Williams was spotted in the audience watching the March Madness game. Other than the quarterback’s presence, his flaunting pink nails and a pink-colored phone cover propelled him to garner criticism as it became a huge deal for many.

Jason Whitlock, the Michigan Wolverines alum, made a bold statement on the Coach JB Show with Big Smitty.  “I don’t know what to make of Caleb Williams… I just don’t think this works in a football locker room and I know how progressive and woke things have become but I just don’t see him as a leader in a football locker room it’s just too feminine,” came Whilock’s take on Williams’ fashion choices. Just as Hunter will derive inspiration from his fiancé, Williams’ mother is the quarterback’s inspiration to have a fondness for nail paint.

As far as Williams’ painted nails are concerned, it’s been a form of personal expression for him for years. While no reaction came from Shedeur Sanders and Deion Sanders during Williams’ instance, it is now to be seen how they accept Hunter flaunting his pink cleats.
