Soon-to-be mama Deiondra Sanders is getting all the love! About 29 weeks pregnant, the daughter of Deion Sanders is getting all the wishes and love from her fans worldwide. Despite having a chronic health condition of uterine fibroids and 4 myomectomy surgeries to get them removed that made conception almost impossible for her, Deiondra’s fight against the odds for her soon-to-be baby boy is truly inspiring for her fans. One such fan found the perfect way to send his wishes to the brave mama.

Zion Pontiflet, a CU staffer, who works as an equipment manager at Boulder, went above and beyond to curate a heartfelt gift hamper for the Sanders family and another for Deiondra Sanders. Coach Prime shared the news through his Instagram on 24 June. The video struck all the right cords in the spectators’ hearts as the staffer poured all his love and gratitude while gifting Deion Sanders the hamper for the Sanders family. Consisting of a football, a CU jacket, and some “shoes” that the staffer highlighted to Prime while asking him to check them out.

Prime, already touched by the affection of Pontiflet, was even more moved when he brought a special little present for the soon-to-be baby boy of Deiondra Sanders. “Deiondra, look at this.” Coach Prime was spotted saying in the video. Extending upon that, Prime wrote in his caption, “I know that Deiondra will love it.” Prime’s genuine emotions towards Pontiflet were on full display as he asked him to introduce himself.

The staffer explained that Coach Prime had helped him through his tough times. Almost as a ‘thank you’ for it, the staffer was expressing his gratitude through the gifts. It means the world to Prime because of the special baby hamper for Deiondra, even if Prime jokes about not being ready to be a grandfather!

The loving bond of soon-to-be grandfather Deion Sanders

Since his daughter announced her pregnancy in March 2024, Deion Sanders has been supporting and loving his father, enjoying the anticipation each day to meet his soon-to-be grandson. While he loves to tease her daughter about his small height, thanks to Deiondra and her boyfriend Jacquess’s less than 6 feet height, Prime loves his on-the-way grandson from the bottom of his heart.

Deion Sanders even came up with some nicknames for Deiondra’s upcoming baby. “Lil engine” was one that he came up with around April, also continuing his teasing about Deiondra’s soon-to-be baby. The nickname for June from Prime was ‘lil Mite Mite’, which he posted on his Instagram on June 20. The nickname, again, was his Prime’s indirect way of teasing his daughter about his unborn son’s height. Although Deiondra mildly disapproved of Prime’s nickname, Deion Sanders is not about to let the playful banter stop.
