Deiondra Sanders, just like others in her family, has been in the spotlight lately. However, it’s all been positive vibes for her since she announced her pregnancy in March. Being an open book, she has shared her journey online, from happy ultrasound moments to the challenges of pregnancy with fibroids.

The 32-year-old mom-to-be is all set for the big gender reveal party on May 18. On a show with health activist Gessie Thompson, she revealed their preferences for the baby’s gender, saying, “I was team girl,” and Jacquees is “team boy.” However, she added, “Now I think I might be team boy.” It seems she’s been going back and forth between her love for a boy and a girl child, while Jacquees has been steady in his preference for a boy. It remains to be seen whose team will win, though, at this point, both would be equally happy regardless of the results. 

While frequently posting such pregnancy updates on IG, Deiondra never fails to express love for her boyfriend, the father of their first child. In her usual playful way, she teased her boyfriend, who seemed all decked up in full cowboy gear, sporting a leather jacket and shoes. Moments ahead of the big reveal, she posted this playful moment on her Instagram story, captioning, “My lil Cowboy,” followed by hearts. Though sweet, it seemed like a subtle jab at his height.

Playful banter is a common sight in the Sanders family, and Jacquees often finds himself at the center of it. Despite being shorter than Deiondra, he takes it all in stride, proving to be one of the best sports in the family.

On Deiondra’s birthday in April, Deion Sanders couldn’t resist a playful jab at Jacquees’ height. He found a photo where Deiondra, wearing heels, towered over her 5’5″ boyfriend. Showing it to his son, Deion Sanders Jr., they chuckled, “Look at her little man, little baby. Look at her!” Deion Jr. added, “He’s shorter than her,” as they laughed. Coach Prime chimed in, “You going to be in the family. Come on man, you got to stand up.”

The Sanders family has been having a good-natured laugh about the potential height of the baby, even placing friendly bets on whether it’ll be over or under 5’3″. Jacquees, the target of these jokes, handles them with ease. When Deiondra revealed the ultrasound showed the baby would be tall due to longer arms, he proudly declared, “Thanks to me!” Deiondra playfully shut him down, but they both agreed it was their “tall Sanders genes.” Jacquees’ ability to handle the teasing shows how well he fits into the Sanders family.
