If there is one thing that Deiondra Sanders is truly awaiting after her delivery, it is seeing the first spark of black and gold in her soon-to-be son’s eyes. The whole of the Sanders clan hails from different natives, like Deiondra Sanders from Georgia and Deion Sanders Jr. from Dallas, with Shedeur, Shilo, and Shelomi having their own. Yet, Colorado is the place where all of their hearts converge. While the birthplace of Deiondra’s soon-to-be baby boy is unknown, she knows one thing for sure: her soon-to-be baby boy was a Colorado fan right from the beginning.

The whole Black and Gold fandom is eagerly awaiting Deion Sanders and Co. to fix the previous season’s 4-8 disaster. However, along with the Buffs’ comeback, Deiondra Sanders is also excited for something else. In her June 25 Q&A video uploaded on YouTube, Deiondra Sanders confessed about being “excited to take her baby to a Colorado game.”

The expecting mama admitted that she wants to make ends meet with her delivery and the Buffs’ first home game in August. However, she did not appear too sure of her delivery and the rest she would need afterward to recover before finally being able to go and cheer for the Colorado Buffs with her baby. Hence, Deiondra’s Plan B would be to attend the homecoming game.

I think it’s perfect—homecoming to our baby and homecoming for the school,” Sanders admitted, giggling. Currently, Deiondra Sanders is about 30 weeks pregnant. Considering that pregnancies last for about 40 weeks, Deiondra Sanders would be expecting her baby by the end of August or early September. However, Deiondra Sanders has already made big plans for her soon-to-be baby boy’s future.

Deiondra knows how sports-inclined her family is. Except for her, each of her siblings has tried their hands at professional sports. This is why she saw the unsaid expectation from her father, Deion Sanders, from a mile away. Even though Prime felt “too young to be a grandfather” at the age of 56, he still loves his soon-to-be little grandson from the bottom of his heart.

However, Deiondra Sanders had the perfect crushing blow to destroy Prime’s deep-seated dream to watch his grandson carry on with the football legacy that he and his sons spent years building. “I don’t want my son to play football because it is very dangerous,” Deiondra Sanders confessed in the same Q&A video. Well, football or not, Grandfather Prime would continue loving their little bundle of joy from his core.
