Deion Sanders and Jim Harbaugh’s contracts have spoken up for them more so than their stats. The Colorado Buffaloes and the Michigan Wolverines have had a tumultuous time in this year’s season with both teams dealing with their own set of controversies. Additionally, Deion Sanders and Jim Harbaugh have dealt with a lot on the personal front but still managed to walk away with wealthy pockets.

The season has ended for the Colorado Buffaloes with a staggering record of 4-8. Whereas the Michigan Wolverines had a tremendous, unbeatable record with a 13-0 winning streak. Regarding these numbers, the contracts that both coaches had have been unbelievable.

Deion Sanders’ contract with the Colorado Buffaloes

Deion signed with the Buffs this year on a 5-year contract valued at over $29.5 million. Though his time with the Buffs this season hasn’t been the best, he still managed to bring about a drastic change to the football program at the university. Last year, the Colorado team ended the season with a record of 1-11 and thus, their 2023 record of 4-8 has been a massive improvement.

The team played their last match of this season against the Utah Utes, which ended in a loss by a score of 23-17. Even though the Buffs’ fans have been disappointed with the string of losses, they’re still hopeful of Coach Prime’s return in the off-season. But in the context of Harbaugh’s fate this year, Deion has still had a far more respectable season.

Jim Harbaugh’s contract and his controversies this season

The Michigan Wolverines’ massive success has to be accredited to Harbaugh’s name. He was on his way to being the most-paid coach in the Big Ten League. In 2022, he signed a five-year contract valued at a record-breaking $36.7 million. Harbaugh has also been known to be on a teasing note with the NFL, but after this season, his legacy has been strained forever.

But after he was involved in the sign-stealing scandal, he witnessed a massive fall from the stars. After it was revealed that he had allegedly been using unfair means to gain an advantage over rival teams, he was released from the Michigan Wolverines and is currently under investigation. The fans hope he can come back after all charges have been dropped against him next season, but it doesn’t seem likely at this point.
