Jonas Knox and LaVar Arrington joined Brady Quinn in his discussion on Prime Time as they celebrated the legendary coach?s new book. The conversation was interesting and illuminating as the trio shared several things about the CU Buffs head coach. Amongst these, it was the 2X SB champion?s MLB career that took center stage, bringing out the comment, ?Like, where has he failed? I mean baseball, I think he batted four something in the World Series and I think he was a part-timer.??

Accounting for 186 stolen bases over nine years, Coach Prime has figures of .263/.319/.392 slash line and 39 home runs. Sanders’s stellar baseball prowess is evident from 5.5 Baseball Reference Wins Above Replacement (bWAR). However, he reserved his best in the year 1992 with a 3.2 bWAR.

The trio further dug up the old archives and stated that Coach Prime had an exceptional baseball career as well. ?People forget how historically great he was, he goes to the 9ers, and they won a Super Bowl. He leaves there, he goes to the Cowboys, they won a Super Bowl.??Looking at his records, it is sure that even his critics in the form of Stephen A. Smith & Jason Whitlock would not shy away from accepting the impact the coach has had on all his sides.

Sanders was undoubtedly the epitome of greatness during his time on the field. Now in his coaching career too, he?s invigorated a low-ranked side into a formidable one! There is more good news to follow for the coach as they snap an ESPN Junior 300 quarterback, trying to gain further glory.
