On 1st July, it was reported by ‘247 Sports’ that one of the most sought after QB, Julian Lewis, marked an impressive feat when he scored a perfect 50 at the Elite 11 event, becoming only the second player to do it right alongside the QB for the Houston Texans, CJ Stroud.

The video saw Lewis making several throws and all of them were impeccable. Not one of them was missed or situated too far away for any of the receivers to have a loose hand on it, which just proves that Lewis is on his way to being one of the most elite quarterbacks in the sport of college football. Moreover, the Colorado Buffaloes’ hunger to land him is making all the more sense now since his talent ends up outshining the current college-level players and Lewis hasn’t even arrived yet. With all that said, Lewis might be heading to the program in Boulder due to the enthusiasm and the reception he received from Coach Prime’s team.

Signs that Julian Lewis has made up his mind to come to Boulder

If there’s one thing we know about Deion Sanders, it is that he is really persistent when it comes to the transfer portal or bringing in new players. He showed that same sort of enthusiasm when they brought in Jordan Seaton to the team, another 5-star OL. Now, the Buffs’ are pulling out all the stops to make sure Lewis comes to the team and they seem to be working so far.

The Buffaloes’ management team found out that Lewis had stepped into a local burger joint named, ‘The Sink’ and they called the owners and asked them to customize a special burger that would be unique to the QB. Hence, ‘The Sink’ now has an item on the menu called, “Juju’s Precision Pass Burger,” which is essentially a double cheeseburger but is Lewis’ favorite. Moreover, the Colorado team did a photo shoot with Juju where Shedeur was seen passing the key to him, insinuating that he’d be the starting QB for the Buffs’ if he decides to play with them in 2025.

Additionally, Lewis was in Panama City, Florida for a hot minute and posted an Instagram story where he stopped at a restaurant named ‘Capt. Jack’ What the Colorado fans were quick to note was that Lewis could be seen wearing the Buffaloes-branded shorts, which is yet another sign of where his mind lies about the decision. Furthermore, Lewis has had over 3 trips to Boulder and even the Trojans’ fans seem to believe that he might flip his commitment to play for Coach Prime and the Buffs but only time will reveal the decision that the QB makes for the start of his college career.
