The Colorado Buffaloes started their season with staggering triumphs, standing at a solid 3-0 position. However, matters soon turned against them as their motivation looked to falter, bringing in a disappointing string of defeats, including their fateful match against Stanford. Cardinals were strategic in their approach. Despite completing 33 of his 47 passes for 400 yards and having five touchdowns, Shedeur was picked and intercepted in the second overtime and Joshua Karty’s 31-yard kick successfully sealed the deal for Stanford. As revealed in his infamous locker room speech, Prime looked to extend his no-nonsense attitude toward the players who failed to demonstrate the required passion for the play.
