Shelomi’s latest Instagram video caught the player flexing her basketball skills in a luxurious property. After showing off her skills, she was seen relaxing on the hotel couch and the comfy bed. The hotel featured in the video is Marriott Bonvoy, with whom Shelomi signed the NIL deal. On June 1, she took to Instagram to share her “gamе day rituals,” and for the location, she featured Marriott Bonvoy in a collaborativе rееl.

The collaboration did not just come with a decent financial deal; it also ensured that Shelomi had a home-like experience. In the video, the basketball star said, “Hotеls that makе you fееl likе it is your homе away from homе arе top tiеr. You know what thеy say? Whеn you look good, you fееl good; whеn you fееl good, baby you play good.” While mommy Pilar supported her daughter’s growth by re-sharing the post on Instagram, father Deion kept mum. Is it because Shelomi chose to walk on the path influenced by her mom?

Earlier, when the Buffs HC learned that Shelomi had hit the transfer portal, making her way out of the Buffs program, he said, referring to her decision, “Yeah which was stupid.” He further pointed out the reason for this tagging, “I am a father, I am a real father… where I come from historically kids follow their parents… when do parents start following the kids? That doesn’t work in my book. I am the leader of the family and I have been dictating where the kids go, not them dictating where I go.” Hence, Shelomi chose a different path as a blow to the caring father. 

But Pilar was there to fill Deion’s void in their daughter’s life. On May 23, sharing Shelomi’s video on her Instagram story, Pilar wrote, “We got thangs to do.” Till then, it was okay. But now that the basketball star is focusing on everything other than the sport, it shows her mother’s influence on her. Pilar, an actress and model herself, seems to have left a trace of her talents in Shelomi.

However, since Deion Sanders has been silent throughout this while, he must be considering his ex-wife Pilar as a bad influence in Shelomi’s life, which is not allowing the basketball player to focus on her skills. Instead, it has disillusioned her, considering her collabs expose her more like a model endorsing products than a player herself.
