Deion Sanders issues a fresh update on who is the best Sanders kid. Prime’s power ranking of his kids is something that has set a wave of competition among the Sanders kids to win their father’s heart and to be his ranking’s top spot. According to his latest rankings by SI, his eldest son, Deion Sanders Jr. acquired the top position, whereas Shilo Sanders was ranked fifth, the lowest. Shedeur Sanders was in at fourth, a spot ahead of Shilo. Prime had his reasons there, which he is slowly unveiling.
In classic Deion fashion, he did not delay in giving justification for Deion Sanders Jr., aka Buckey, being his first pick. Buckey skyrocketed CU’s online presence, garnering them worldwide followers, something that Deion Sanders and Co. would always be grateful for. Now that was said and done, Prime best believed to share why Shilo was his ‘least favorite’.

In his recent interview with Matt McChesney, Sanders gave Shilo a tag, a heavy one, of being irresponsible, while his brother Shedeur Sanders was tagged as the better half, responsible. It all traced back to the Sanders family enjoying their team bonding activities on the snow-clad heights in Boulder. Revealing his kids’ preference for snow activities, Prime said, “Shilo, he snowboards. Shedeur keeps it safe because we don’t want our quarterback doing nothing crazy. He’s on a snowmobile, he’s taking his lineman with him, and he’s having a great time.”

While this might be the incident that edged Deion Sanders to call Shedeur ‘the responsible one’ and Shilo the other, Shilo going straight to spot 5 was a cumulation of the past events as well, some of which were on-field. When Colorado was losing its initial spark, tumbling down a steep decline after 3 wins, they had a showdown against UCLA, which marked the first problem by Shilo Sanders.
Shilo Sanders’ off-game fumbles
CU’s clash with UCLA Bruins was going smoothly until the second quarter started. The referee signaled Shilo Sanders to be out of the game due to targeting running back Carsen Ryan with a big hit. Shilo’s ejection came as a shock to not only Deion Sanders but also to the whole of the Buffs. Shilo Sanders made the same mistake during their previous clash with UCLA, where he made a huge hit on Carson Steele to force a fumble.

To not let this repeat, Deion Sanders is not going easy on Shilo during the ongoing practice sessions. In several Well Off Media videos, Deion Sanders is seen repeatedly calling out Shilo during the practice sessions over mistakes, to smoothen out his flaws. Prime did not think twice before yelling “Shilo, Get Out!” in front of the Buffs team. Per another video of Prime and his son, seems that he isn’t ready to admit or work on his mistake yet, even when Prime reiterated it quite a few times.
