Buffs haven’t performed well for quite a few games now. The fans saw their worst performance against the Oregon Ducks when they lost by a staggering score of 42-6, but their recent loss against the Stanford Cardinal has raised some serious questions about the team’s playmaking skills.

Though Coach Prime has managed to be an inspirational figure since his debut, it will be tough for him to bring the Buffs back on track. The fans are raising their doubts yet again about the placement of Travis Hunter, the cornerback for the Buffaloes, as he’s a pivotal part of the team. Now, the Buffaloes HC is on the receiving end of harsh criticism for Travis Hunter’s positioning in their latest game.

Deion Sanders not utilizing Travis Hunter to his full potential

Deion Sanders has been under a lot of fire for his team’s performance this season. Even though this is his first season as a debut coach, the fans seem to expect a lot from him, he’s been outshining the rest of the coaches in the NCAA.

Travis Hunter is an exceptional player. As one of the most talented players in the NCAA, he plays two positions on the field- cornerback as well as wide receiver. Both are very important positions on the field and Hunter can perform equally well on both. But lately, fans have taken an issue with his dual position and claim that Sanders’ plays will lead to Hunter getting severely tired.

A user named Gerald McCoy said, “He either has to pick a side or cut back. It’s too much. Can’t maximize the athlete like that.” Fans feel that Travis is taking a lot more on his plate than he can handle. The pressure of playing two positions at once might lead to him getting tired easily and thus, reduce the Buffs’ chances of a win.

Their complaints are chiming in as the team prepares for their game against the UCLA Bruins this coming Saturday. All of their doubts and issues are targeted towards Coach Prime as he continues to motivate his team’s spirit and try to help them make a comeback.

What did Coach Prime have to say about the upcoming games for the team?

Coach Prime has unflinchingly stated, “We’re gonna take this on the chin because we deserve it and bounce back.” The Colorado Buffaloes released a video that saw Coach Prime talking about how he plans to take the team forward after the loss to the Stanford Cardinals. Even if the team is not playing well, the fans know for certain that he will not give up so easily and hopefully make a redemption soon.

Furthermore, Coach Prime said, “We can’t sit down and have no pity party. Ya’ll don’t feel bad for us. Some of ya’ll are ecstatic about what transpired today.” He accepts the team’s fault, provides reassurance that they will be better, and offers no excuses. The Buffs are currently standing on a 4-3 record but they have the rest of the games to make up for their roller coaster season.
